Leven Dash Gauge sizes

Hi there new member so sorry for any mistakes.
Bought a Leven dash of a friend to fit to my chimaera, got the old dash to bits ok only to find that the holes for the gauges are to small, has amy one come accross this before?
My car is 1994 on an L Plate.... Thanks Brent

I had the same problem on a Griff dash - a fraction of a mm too small a diameter. Thing is I was kind of pleased cos it meant I could mount the guages much more securely. When I bought the dash Leven made it quite clear that any problems would be sorted - so give them a call. I'd come clean about buying it second hand - I suspect they won't hold it against you!

Hi mate got waylayed at xmas to much beer to drink & all that....No not moved house! Bit the bullet today. Not as bad a job as i thought...

if you only need to remove a small amount i have some round sanding wheels that fit in a drill, let me know if you want to try them

There is a difference between the 94 cars with black rim dials and the 95 ones with silver rimmed dials. By the sounds of it, you have a slightly later dash. Why not phone Leven and ask them what size the holes should be for your type of instruments. You never know, they might even be able to get it altered for you for a reasonable fee and save you messing about. I had a couple of queries when I bought a Leven dash and they were very friendly and helpful.
