Anyone have part no. / source for front brake caliper for late Chim (99 4.0)

Need to try and locate one today if possible.

I suspect that your car has the bigger calipers as per the 500. There are plenty of people who advertise in the Sprint who can help. Not the cheapest though.

I was having dificulty sourcing calipers for my 96 Chim 400 so took them to Partco. They got them reconditioned for £95 the pair including nextday carriage. It took about 3 working days.

They are off a Ford Sierra i think. So should be able to get them from any Ford dealer. If you need the part number I can get it off my car if you like? Mines also a 99 400.

Standard brakes are from a 1997 Fischer Price tractor - ages 2-6.

Or you could try most late 1990s Fords in a breakers yard - Escort to Sierra (I think).
