My 450 is fitted with an R T Racing Supersports Exhaust. sounds very nice but no popping and banging on the over run. Is there any way to get her to do this, apart from visiting Offords or Austech and having an ordinary system fitted with their straight through pipes ?

alter the fuel map so that you waste a little.I wonder if the green tune resistor would help

It'll only pop if there's unburned fuel in the exhaust. Your engine map default setting turns the fuel off completely when you lift off the gas. It only turns it back on to pick up the engine as it reaches tickover speed.

To produce pop you'll need to keep your foot down a little on the gas pedal, that way fuel will be cast into the cylinders but without a spark that fuel will be deposited into the exhaust. Hay presto pops and bangs.
