In my Chimaera the interior light does not work. I was told by a friend in the trade that this could have been disconnected deliberatley, as it can sometimes cause a battery drain on this model of car.
Does any one else know if this is true having experenced this problem.

I've heard that too. Also the light delay relay can play up. Mine had a wire running accross where the delay relay was. effectively bypassing it so it was door open - on, door closed - off.

Can't remember which relay on the fusebox it is though.

It's yellow if that helps?!? Top right of the fuse/relay board on mine (a '97 450), could be bottom left I can't remember which way up I was when swapping it?!?

Be sat down when you order it though, cost about 30 notes IIRC
