Brakes seize when in traffic
Discussion
Ok...i put a post up last week saying i had stripped the brakes down and this had stopped the brake from seizing... i drove down to worthing from newcastle and hit loads of traffic.
All the time the car was moving freely the brakes were fine...but as soon as i hit one of the traffic spots and the engine warmed up to 90ish deg the front left hand brake started to bind to the point where when the traffic started moving it was pulling to the left.
When i let it cool down the car was fine and would sit comfortably at 70-80 with no signs of rubbing???
Has anyone ever had anything like this before?
I have not changed anything recently and it never used to do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as i have to drive back to newcastle from worthing tomorrow!!!!

Replacing the flexible brake hoses solved it for me.
I wonder how that made the difference?
I can feel a set of goodridge hoses comming up! Might as well replace the lot.
The brake is fine when travelling...and when first stuck in traffic...its just when the car heats up after 10 or 20 mins the brake starts locking.

Something to do with the hoses breaking down internally and acting like a non-return valve when hot and pliable? Well it's a theory! I don't really know why replacing them solved MY problem. I had tried "excercising" the caliper and bleeding to no avail before going for the replacement hoses.
As an aside, when I got my braided hoses, Penninsula (mail order) were cheaper than anywhere else I found.
