Hi all,
here's a good one.
Whilst driving the Chimaera yesterday, I locked the doors from the inside using the central console button.
At home, got out of the car, leaving the keys temporarily in the ignition - was very cold so I shut the drivers door for a moment.
Tried to get back into car and was locked out.
Thought for a moment then... Aaaargh!
The door sensing switch had seized and so when opening the door, the lock had not cancelled (Chimaera electronics unaware of door opening) and I was locked out! PANTS!
Managed to regain entry using the emergency method but not funny in the cold weather, and just lucky I wasn't in the middle of nowhere.
Note for future
, always take keys out of car when leaving vehicle and replace the darn switch!
