Oil Pressure Warning Light

If the indicated oil pressure on the gauge is sensible and normal then this is probably a fault in the warning lamp circuit. Unless the oil pressure is getting down to 10 PSI or lower (which would be a concern)then the pressure warning light switch would not be closed. Check the wire to the switch for chafing and shorting to earth on the engine or chassis etc, this would cause the light to flicker on.
