Hmm now where did those wires go.....?
Discussion
I know, I know I should have marked them.....
I have just finished putting the top part of the engine back together (inlet manifold and above) after replacing a ruptured inlet pipe/valley gasket. Then through some " While I'm here, I might as well .......", well anyway as part of this process I took off the coil and did not mark the yellow and white wires? I have tried the Bible but although colouring is correct it did not say wether it was + or -.
I also have a small hose coming off the back of the fuel regulator....Is this supposed to connect anywhere...I can't find anywhere at present.
Any help would be appreciated...

I haven't memorised the ignition wiring colours, but if you isolate both of them and switch the ignition on, the one that goes live connects to the positive terminal on the coil.
The small hose you're referring to is the vacuum reference for the fuel pressure regulator, and connects to a small spigot on the back of the trumpet base.
