Just finished cleaning the baby this afternoon. Gleaming!

Putting her back in the garage and scraped the front wing on a gas valve sticking out of the wall. Just thought I'd let you all fellow p-headers share my pain. Going out now to get leathered in celebration

Doh! Nearly scraped mine on a ladder in the garage the other day. Luckily saved by less than a cm, needless to day the ladder has gone. Least it looks clean hey?!

Awww bad luck mate! I hate it in life when you try and make an extra special effort, and Percy the devil farts in your face. I would include buying my girlfriend the "wrong" birthday present in this....

How bad's the scrape? Are we talking bodyshop or heavy T-Cut?

Those wonderful chaps at Peninsula have a bloke sort of Plastic Surgeon type guy who does what your granny would call invisible mending. Scrape is about an inch long on front of wheelarch - definitely not a T-cut job. Last time they sorted a scratch it was about 40 quid and I'll be buggered if I can see where it was. This looks like it'll be a bit more dosh though.

Last time I went to look at a house I asked If I could park the car in the garage to check it for size, they thought I was mad, idiots

Scraped my bumper parking at Hawthorns the other week - when I went to view the T350!

I now have 3 Front/Rear scrapes in the first year (subtle scrapes), am stacking them up for a springtime re-spray!

When mine was vandalised (keys down all panels, both sides - The guys at Hawthorns had some industrial T-cut product (made by 3M IIRC) that made a huge difference in combination with a little of the colour-coded turtlewax (scratches were only visible close up, not from 10 feet away).

I can beat all these ..... I reversed mine down the drive and took the open door off on the lampost between us and next door ...... a long complicated story involving moving parked cars, roofs lowered and being late to pick a son up from school.

Nevertheless Ewelme Coachworks fixed it so you'd never know !!

Glad to hear your cars back in shape, so no harm done plus you had a reason to get leathered. As if we really need a reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!
