tvr forum or porche?
Discussion
i'm bored so just thought i'd post a little topic that still intrigue's me to this day, i used to lurk on the porsche web site when i had my 911 cant remember wot site it was and i'm sure it wasn't piston heads but to cut a long story short i got pulled on the m1 doing 128 (wow) and thought i'd ask for advice on wot kind of ban i would receive ( yes i felt propper sick when they pulled me, unmarked sneaky fu**ers) i created a 40 mail response slagging me off and saying i should be banned for a year, to be fair i had about 4 people support me and tell the others to f off but how strange for a site dedicated to people who buy these cars to not use them, very sad. BUT! i've posted on hear about the odd 160 before and been told i'm slow lol. Just goes to show the tvr boys dont fu*ck about even if we do drive i car thats lyable to fall to bits after 140mph, fair play to tvr for anoying cars that cost 3 times (or more) as much.
*Most* people on here will tend to judge once the circumstances are known (ie were you on empty motorway, clear visibility etc, or rush hour in the rain) rather than leaping canyons to conclusions.

This may be because TVRs are less likely to be bought as mid-life-crisis-toys than a 911, possibly because they're known to be more involving on a number of levels to own and drive
