I had the factory brake and wheel upgrade fitted with 16" wheels and have been pleased with results. cannot comment on 18" but think they could be a bit hard on chim

The factory doesn't deal with the buying public anymore so you'll need to talk to a dealer. The kit comes with 16" spiders and you don't have a choice. The reason for TVR putting the kit together was to reduce their overstock of 16" wheels.

You should think carefully about why you want 18" wheels. They do look good but you pay the price with poor drivability. Apparently they cause tramliing and are skittish and very unforgiving when cornering.

Just ask yourself, did you buy the Chim to drive or to look at?

been looking at wheel upgrades myself. By all accounts tvr dont do the kit any more, ring tvrcarparts which I forgot to do today and they can still make them I beleive. I personally dont want the 16"" spiders as I have 16 anyway i was lookin gat the 17"" cerb allows.

There a guy in Co. Durham with a Chim with 18 inch spiders. Posts on PH as 'Neejah'.

His car looks absolutely stunning on these and he says that it hasn't compromised the driving either....
