Two days ago i removed the diff to change the bushes for powerflex, and as i dropped the diff a sensor of some description along with two wires came down with it (uses the castellated prop bolt guard as a reference by the looks of things) I hazard a guess the wires go back through a small hole in the floorplan, any ideas what they do please?

This may not be relevant, but when I changed the Diff on the Griff, I made the bold assumption that by simply bolting the sensor bracket back in place it would be correctly aligned. Bad move ! When I drove the car there was a curious whine, which, yes you guessed it was the toothed wheel grinding down the speed sensor. There is actually a fair bit of adjustment available in the holes on the bracket.

Yes sir
Buy a radar detector with built in GPS speedo, you'll then realize youv'e been driving under the speed limit by atleast 10mph since having the car..

I 2nd that, I've found the variance to be between 6-10mph using a Navman system.
