I have some Kenwoods in the door which were already they but have never fitted properly.

Does anyone what size it should be and what are your suggestion to upgrade to

The ones in my 97 are 5" jobbies.

I've just ordered some of these to replace them with:



Hopefully they'll sound a bit better than the standard Pioneers. Am going to add a touch of sound deadening to the doors as well.

I fitted Fusion FSC-6E components for the front doors, the bass/mid speaker unit is 6 inch, but the grille is larger, i had to get the dremmel out again and remove about 60 percent of the plastic skirt from around the metal grille, this is fine as it doesnt notice where it fits into the leather door 'aperture' I left the plastic surround alone where its visible. The end result is a nice neat fit but it took a bit of time.
