I need to replace one of my rear 16" 5-spoke alloys. My existing alloy has developed a definate 'wobble'. Price is my biggest concern as I am in the process of moving house. Where is the best place to look for a replacement? Anyone selling at the moment?

How bad is the wobble? Depending on the severity of it and whether it is due to a pot hole/speed bump and has gone egg shaped ora sideways impact. If it is slightly egg shaped you may be able to get it pressed straight. I got one of my fronts done last year. The inside had edge had a flat spot, a metal workers in Sheffield pressed it round again.

I'm not sure of the impact...it was done before I had the car and was only noticed recently on a tyre change. The tyre man said that he had to use an abnormal amount of weight to balance the wheel. My concern is that there may be other, undiagnosed, damage, such as a hairline crack that could fracture dramatically under speed.

I thought to live with it for a few months and wait for a good replacement to appear on Ebay...but someone pointed out that I was 'wobbling' on my drive home from work last night, so now it is plagueing my mind.
