Thought it would be a good idea to take my pride and joy for a run today, only problem is the chimp had other ideas.
Has any body experianced the following:
Unlocked the boot to store the dust cover, started the car and turned the heater on. All seemed ok,i rolled up the dust sheet and put it in the boot, when i went to close the boot it wouldn't catch, lent inside the car to find the heater fan had stopped, also noticed that the pressure cauges no longer registered. Further inspection showed the red battery light shinning bright!
I've checked the fuses and all seems well, everything else seems to be in order
Hopefully this is nothing but a little TVR clitch!

Knackered alternator or alternator fuse causing no charging... hence that little red light. Could equally be a wiring glitch.

Check fuse link under the starter motor (same as what Steve said).
The guages are un-stabilised so if the voltage drops so do all the guages.

The red light comes on and the car will eventually grid to a halt..

The part costs about £1 to replace.
