Here’s a weird one.
Developed a rear nearside wheel creak (which turns into a squeak at greater than walking speed) after car went on the ramps at Henley TVR. Persisted for two weeks then disappeared. About 800 miles later, took it back to Henley for a gearbox oil check (no flat ground where I live) back on the ramps and hey presto, the squeak/creak has returned!! Applying the hand/footbrake does not alter the noise. I’m not sure if the noise is direction related i.e. left/right bends. Certainly happens in the straight ahead position. Any similar experiences anyone? It would happen just as I am off for the Lake District!
Cheers

A unique problem?
Only occur after aprox 20 miles driving - not from cold

I had this on my Chimaera 500, squeeky pram sound at low speeds.

Sorted now, simply by applying plenty of waxoyl over chassis and everywhere except the brakes, need a pit do do it in but at least axle stands as wheels neeed to come off.

Dont trust a dealer to do this as they will not do a proper job you need to jet wash underside then a pit or at least axle stands, wheels off (cover brakes with poly bags), wire brush and scraper, 20 litres of black waxoyl and sparyer (you do not need the extension probe). Maybe undershield the wheel arches etc at same time

Spray the lot(ideally this time of year)leave for 24 hours then drive at least fifty miles to burn off excess. The differance is amazing, it becomes a completely different car with all the chassis being lubricated and all those annoying sqeeks gone. It worked for me and well worth the hard messy work.
