Rear discs for a 2000w 4.0 Chim?
Discussion
are they vented? 273mm diameter x 24mm width? if so then I think they're escort cosworth front discs - I can't recall exactly which ones were which when I changed mine but IIRC the fronts and rears were a mix of sierra XR4 and escort cosworth - make sure you get four stud discs - they make similar size discs for the cougar and scorpio too but they're five stud amd won't fit. A good motor factor should be able to source them if you give them the dimensions - don't skimp on quality either.

Ive just replaced mine (94 Griff 500) and they are Escort Cosworth 4x4 rears, but i think you'll find they are only 20mm thick (its worth checking) I'd be surprised if the Chim is different to the Griff. Quinton Hazell BDC3807, from local motor factors, I paid about £21 each incl VAT, TVR dealer quoted £80 +VAT each!!!. I compared them side by side with official Ford ones and they look like they might even have come down the same production line!?

I dont think there is a choice, as far as I know the later griff/chims were all fitted with 273dia x 20thk vented rear discs from the Escort cossie 4x4 (unless anyone knows different?). In any event when I replaced mine I wanted to be absolutely sure it was the correct spec so asked for a drawing of the disc from the manufacturer.
