What front tyre size is best to use with 16" spiders ? Finally collected my 5 stud conversion yesterday .All four wheels have 225/50x16 tyres on. Will i get away with the same size all round ?

Also looking for 4 wheel nuts if anyone has a few going spare ? Either that or the best place to buy a set of locking wheel nuts ?

Pretty sure you want 225/45 at the front and 245/45 bringing up the rear

Maybe, just about; the fronts may scuff on the wheel arches, just depends on the exact shape of your mould and posn of body - 225/45f would be better. How hard will you be driving etc.?

Got the kit from here www.pistonheads.com/sales/70779.htm

I think the rears will be ok for now, they are the same width as the 16" standard rims that are on the car now.

Maybe best to try the fronts first before buying 225/45's.

Or buy a pair and keep the 225/50's for a spare set of rears.

decisions,decisions?
