I have the opportunity to purchase a new uprated ECU to suit my Chim 500, namely teh Camco 88, it should raise bhp to 380 & similar increase in torque potentially.

I have not seen this item referred to on the forum previously, and would benefit from any advice or experience of the unit ie power claims, cost, reliability etc

No chance with the power figures unless you have had a lot of other work done to the engine.

Google finds Camco 88 to be a Warrington based firm selling Superchips products.

Thanks Guys - you've confirmed my suspisions, transpires this is a stock replacement ECU that someone claims to be able to re-map. If it looks to good to be true.... guess I'll have to make do with just 320bhp !
