I know leaks have been done to death but I can't remember reading of one from this place.

For the second time recently, I noticed a little puddle in the little tray on the transmition tunnel. I presume it is leaking from the centre of the roof where the targa top meets the rear canvas.

Has anyone else had this problem? I presume the only way to fix it is to replace the rubber, even though it looks fine.

Sounds like it, or could be the rear window to roof joint.
Best thing is to eye up the point of the drip in relation to the tray and see if this could be the source of the drip.
The roof seal is one single piece that goes from one side over the top to the other. (only a couple of quid or so a foot from TVR)
Also, when was the last time the roof was treated to a water proofing job (Renovo or similar ) as this could also cause a leak.
Hope you find it,
Cheers Paul.

I had this on my first griff. The water used to drip right in the centre of the 'T' shaped centre console tim, which is right where you have a recess on the chim, from memory.I cured my leak by removing the roof panel and giving both meeting edges a good coating of thompsons water seal.
