Q1 - Replacing radiator meant spending far too much time at the front of the car and not enough time in it but whilst there I found two connectors inside the front quarter panels, in the hole below the indicator.
Anyone know what these are for, have the same connector on both sides. Thought it might be redundant from a Grif wiring loom or some other homogeneous bit of TVR wiring and be suitable for a lamp or two. I don't think it's alarm or related and ice sensor is there too.

Q2 - My big fat Cuban Stogie Lighter has decided to separate in the door pod. I've had the speaker out but the area the 12v output is in seems to be enclosed. Is this a panel off fix? Please, someone say no, my slabs of meat barely fit in the speaker opening so I'll need to recruit a small child to wield the sockets inside.

Q3 - not a Leccy question but has anyone else experienced a bizarre and loud vibration coming directly from the top of the gear lever at between 1950 and 2000rpm (well it is on mine). Started last night, gearbox vibration any cures?

Otherwise everything is rooty toot on a daily driver doing 1600 miles a month.
cheers again.

Nope, vibration is definitely at a certain RPM in any gear. It is almost as of there is some gearbox harmonic that makes teh gear stick vibrate. It's going into Topcats tomorrow for a service so I'll ask them to have a look.

The leccy questions are more puzzling though. I've research a bit about the Chim and not found any references to the free connectors at the front underneath the indicators.

Anyone?

btw, the gearstick vibration has only just happened. Wasn't there one journey, is the next. It didn't progressively get worse. Only thing I did was jack the car up and whip the rad out.

Why would you try to repair your lighter with your feet??? Do you not have hands or arms?
Unfortunately this is indeed one of those times where you need to bribe either your or your friends children! Or if your gf/wife/partner etc has small hands and doesn't mind the odd fibreglass splinter then ask them nicely

if you can't get your arm through the hole, I'd ask topcats to sort it while it's in for a service. If you get friends or family to do it you'll be ostracised. If you get a child to do it, you'll be arrested. People seem to be very against fibre glass scrapes when it isn't their car.
