...make sure someone hasn't beat you to it! Doh!!

Well, sort of, anyway. Spent the best part of the weekend dropping the nearside manifold and wrestling the honeycomb out (bitch of a job). Then popped the offside one off, to find someone had already done it A few new swearwords invented at that point.

Checked the top of the main cat to see if it had rattled into there but nope, it's gone... do you think that's why the car's been pulling to the right??

Thanks for the tip!! One of mine has a chuck broken off of it and damaged a lamba sensor

So anyone got any tips as to how you can tell without taking the manifolds off ?

Drop the Y section out and shine a torch into the manifolds ....

I guess you could remove the lambda sensors and probe gently in the direction of the motor from there with something suitable. Can't quite work out why I would only have one unless someone previously had the same idea and got fed up half way through. I could never do that, wouldn't sleep after

I've heard of this before. Could be that someone changed that manifold during the previous life of the car of maybe TVR didn't fit them to manifolds on Fridays.
