You learn summat new every day as they say - after all this time I finally discover a vent in the passenger's footwell that I never knew was there!

Now my question is - is this heater or fresh air? Could this explain why the passenger's getting no heat in the winter? (It was closed, and has been since the car came out of Blackpool).

Ideas, anyone?

So this would explain why the Mrs keeps turning the bl00dy heater up when I'm cooking in the driver's seat!

Kin hell - I wondered what that pedal was for on the right - it's to make the cockpit hotter.

Pity there isn't a flap you can shut on the driver's side! Phew!

Umm there is on mine (took me 6 months to find it) and a fresh air vent.

I've got a feeling this was a dealer option? I dunno, I'll have to get on my hands and knees again and have another look. Or I might wait until my copy of the Bible arrives (just ordered, about time I invested in one!)

I need some heat in there anyway at the moment... five days of torrential rain and an ill-closed driver's door have conspired to give me a wet @rse due to a damp driver's seat

My 1994 model.

Right hand side of drivers footwell (fairly deep down), multi-directional vent. Twist knob open/close function. Cold air.

Left hand side of drivers footwell (near knee), fixed vent. 2 flaps open and closed by poking finger in it. Hot air.
