Looking to change suspension - having read previous posts still not sure whether Gaz, Protech etc... Anyway, whilst changing would you recommend new bushes? Purchase cost seems ok - around £250 - but labour was over £1200 according to previous thread!! Car used for fast road and occasional track work. Also who would you recommend to fit suspension - I live in Southampton? Thanks.

If your paying to have the bushes changed, then it will be expensive.I would only fit the two piece poly bushes which are much better than originals, the Powerflex ones are quite superb. If costs get pohibitive then you could just do the fronts for now,as these are usually where the most significant change will be found. This is what i did as my rear bushes are still fine.
I would strongly recommend the Protechs over the Gaz dampers, and if you buy them from TCS at the mo.,theres a special deal on,if you buy the bushes and shocks together

Thanks. I've had a look at their website - do you know where they are based and whether they supply and fit?

Based in Chesterfield, and yes, they supply and fit.I travel a long way to go there myself, been many times.Theres a nice Travel inn/Travel Lodge type place close by,so we usually stop over which makes for an inexpensive overnighter. Its well worth the visit as Julian is a top bloke, and his work is as good as it gets(wish i'd discovered him 3 Tivs ago!).If it is impractical to visit though, its the kind of work that any competant garage should be able to fit, just make sure you get it set up properly afterwards,Julian will give you all the advice you need-enjoy
