A big hello and a little advice please.

Hi to all tvr owners,had my chimaera 450 for nearly 2 weeks now.yep,ive been chim struck.
Two problems have arisen, and would be grateful for any advice on either.
1 Windscreen seal has become detached along passenger upright,diy or into trimmers?
2 Long piece of elastic invisibly attached to car,and myself,does it ever stop drawing you to it?

Congratulations on a great choice of car - is it one of the fast (blue) ones?

I have just had the rubber seal part company with the screen on mine. If this is your problem, i have sorted it using Loctite black silicone sealant from Halfords.

Did you buy from a dealer, if so i would perhaps have a word with them.

HI DUDE,HAD SAME PROBLEM WITH SCREEN,POP IN YOUR LOCAL SCREEN FITTERS THEY WILL DO IT FOR LITTLE OR NOTHING AND MAKE A GOOD JOB,DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING SO GAVE FITTER A DRINK.THE ELASTIC DOESNT GO AWAY JUST GETS STRONGER .

Thanks for the advice gents,think i can cope with this small problem.
Car colour is halcyon midas,bought privately and looks stunning.Press car for 450 launch,reg dec 96 with an interior to die for(purple and blue leather,yellow dials and all ally bits where they should be)and havent seen the girlfriend laugh so much since she found a mirror,thanks again.

Fantastic colour combo mate,ordered the exact spec except had a all purple leather and carpet on a 98 Griff,regret ever selling it.
