Ok, wnat to remove the steering wheel and boss and the 'wobble' method is not working, nothing like. Nor has the thump it, yank it and roundly abuse it in best anglo-saxon terms methods achieved musc apart from a bruised arm and a blushing old lady by-passer.

Three legged puller? Seems a bit brutal for a little thing like that. Can I hit it more cleverly (this appeals)?

Is nothing on these cars pain-free???

if you can get someone to put a nice pull tension on the wheel, while you give the centre stub a sharp tap with a hammer possibly copper ended,oh with the nut left on flush with the top threads, just so you dont burr the end, worth a try.

Well, can now attest that a puller is not the way forward. Good old Bell Hill Garage... £15 plus vat and postage for that lesson that the bosses are made of cheese

And the bugger (or what is left of it) is still on
