Was that yours?

What the hell did you do to the interior? I took that out for a test drive and the car was not in particulaly good condition for a 51 plate.

They wanted 20k for it but then droped it to 17k when it didnt sell. I think it ended up going for auction but I could be wrong.

I never found out what happened to the interior, she was like that when I got her 12 months earlier. Very faded and was wet inside passenger floor.

I fixed the leak but I think the damp had already got into the veneer by then, when I sold her there were 2 obvious cracks in the dash, one on the far left and a small vertical one fairly central. On the plus her engine was extremely nice, though her gearbox always had a slightly worrying clunk in 5th when coming off the power.

Shame she went to auction, with a bit of work inside she would have been great

Unfortunately Archie Moss didn't really know what they had got, and left her sitting out in all weathers. When I test drove her the wipers were u/s along with the hazard lights, the boot was full of water and the battery was flat. Also the off side head light was half full of water. But the engine went well!

Its a shame because if the dealer had spent some money on her she would have been fantastic. But like I said, they didn't know what they had.
