Flat battery. Cant get in. - Advice required urgently.

Hello all.

I know this is a topic often discused, but i cant find the information i require.

Ive just returned from the desert to find the car battery completely flat, so much so i cant even get access to the inside of the car so as to charge the battery.

If anyone can email me any 'advice' on how i can either get into the car or externaly charge the battery, id be really grateful, as i cant get off this camp until its done!

I'm afraid that you will get the standard reply from everyone, which is that they will not post details on a public forum as to how to break into their own car!!

I'm not aware of anyway of being able to charge the battery externally. My best advice would be to contact your garage or seller.

my advice would be to stand beside the car and think about it ..if you've owned a chim for a while you'll know the mechanics of it all. I worked it out in about a minute without asking the question on here.

(oh and don't post the answer when you have the eureka moment )

I'd had the Chim for 6 weeks when I was locked out of it last Saturday. I then had that 'Eureka' moment. When it comes to you - you'll grin

Yep fairly obvious now! Wish i had beaten the AA man to it though, took him a whole 30secs to figure it out!
