When I turn my ignition on I cannot hear the fuel pump energise. I have taken off and tested the inline fuel pump with an independant power source and it is still working. Any Ideas ?

I'd guess either the immobiliser or more likely the fuel pump relay(s). You can find the relays (2 silver ones) in the bunch of wires on top of the battery. Check the connections, then try switching them over. If the fuel pump primes then one of them is dodgy... I'd probably replace both to be safe.

yep, sounds just like the old relay problem. Fortunately easy to fix

Thanks, I have tried swapping the two relays over, could it be possible for both relays to go at the same time ?

I doubt it, have you checked the fuse (I have no idea which one it is)...

Ive checked the fuse, its ok. I think I will change the relays and see what happens. Thanks for your help. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Do you have a voltmeter or test bulb available? The circuit is relatively straightforward to diagnose but too complicated just to guess where the fault may be.
