advice needed

test drove a 96 4.00 hc last night, it has 44k on it, in real good condition. the dealer seems a real nice guy.
there is no real history apart from the service stamps, but doesnt look to have any mods apart from new seals and rear screen. I am really tempted, the only thing is that he wants 12500 and is only giving a 3 mths warranty.
everything i've asked about the dealers has come back positive, just wondering what everyone else thinks

Seems a little bit pricey. I think the 3 mth warranty on a 96 is probably par for the course, but for £12.5k I think there is a lot of dealer margin there - certainly enough for a 12mth warranty.

I've just been on the Fernhurst website and they have some '97/'98 models around the same price (with 3mth warranty).

Unless its an absolute pearler, I think you've got some negotiating to do on this one
