Blatant plug for Carl's "Boot Plipper"
Discussion
Phew! Relief! At last!
I just had Carl fit a remote boot plipper so I can avoid the TVR pantomime. £188 total. Well worth it.
Coming out of a shop, laden with bags, I no longer need to mess around in the car to open the boot. Just reach into my pocket and press the button (ooerr). Magic!
The trip up and down the A3 on a sunny afternoon was a bonus. The only cloud on the horizon was I had trouble leaving a Japanese hot hatch that caught me unawares. After having been bottled in by traffic, he stayed with me in the subsequent blast from 60-100mph, which surprised me. Big smiles all round as I let pass and then followed him for a while before he exited at the next junction. Respect.

Ah yes, I did have the my second key reprogramed as well. A very handy service too. Thanks, Carl.
The noise was due to the hot hatch coming up behind me on the A3 on-ramp. What more excuse does one need to floor it? I may not have left them behind but I sure as hell made their ears ring
