Aye.

Can someone tell me on what page of the handbook to find the internal trim option and the name of the bodywork colour please ?

Surprisingly, no, I'm not being particularly thick; I need to tell potential sellers where to find the info. for it seems most can't (or don't want to) tell the difference between leather and vinyl.

Obliged.

Oh dear...
It appears I've become thick again. I was under the impression that what had been known as the "logbook" had been replaced some years ago by the V5.
What is the logbook to which you are referring and is the "car data sheet" a page thereof, or a separate bit of paper and thus easily lost over the years ?
I just need to be able to tell folk over the phone where to look to find the information.

Still obliged,
Kenny.

There's a page in the middle of the TVR handbook which describes the configuration of the car. The handbook is the (in my case) filofax thing containing the "instructions" and service record.

Take care, mine only records one colour of interior trim rather than the two I actually have!

Confirmed about the handbook/filofax thingey. It's just after the operator instructions and before the service history with mine. My info is spot on, but I think it depends how accurate the original selling dealer was when they filled it in. The other alternative is to just describe the colour to the buyer over the phone. He (or she) either wants it or he doesn't - I don't suppose the difference between 'biscuit' and 'light tan' makes a difference to a sale if they just want a light brown interior, whereas 'excellent condition' verus 'bag of sh*te' might!!!

The handbook is a loose leaf filofax type affair. In mine the specs are on page 4. About half way down under "Trim Material" it says "1/2 tube" - not sure why. It was 1/2 leather. Or 1/2 vinyl, depending how you view these things!

Thanks all, that'll be useful.

It's not really the colour I'm bothered by, just the half, threequarter or full leather option.

My new shed's nearly finished you see...
