Was saving the scrapes on the rear bumper and front nose for a springtime overhaul - now some sod has rammed their tow bar into my rear end so the bumper is looking a tad sad!
So - it's time to book a front/rear GRP repair and paint job . . . as I'm in West London I'm looking to the Adrian Blyth body shop - whilst I can surf the posts - let's take a quick survey of prices paid (!)

Perhaps we could go for a bulk discount!

I have just mailed Webbs and should be getting a quote back soonish. I will also speak to Ewelme.

If you are going down to Blyths bodyshop though give me a shout and I may tag along and get an estimate at the same time if thats cool.

Matt.

I will seek quotes and luck for bulk purchase . . . hopefully it only needs to be the bumper strip to be repaired/painted.

Seem to remember yours looked a tad more painful

My rear bumper strip bit on my old Chimaera used to cost me about 150 quid for pearl paint at the TVR Centres bodyshop. I had it done 3 times due to peasant scumbag filth reverse parking into it. Twice I caught them and got it through on their insurance.

The plot thickens - even though driver was not answering calls from their Insurer - they still sent me a letter offering to pay for all works (and courtesy car) . .

Will let you know how the rear end lift goes (the car NOT me!)

Well, I've had the courtesy car delivered, a shiny silver Astra will lots of tell tale "rental" damage (curbing, doors opened into bollards etc) and now the Chimaera is in for the rear repair and re-spray . . . Will pick up tomorrow and hope to see a perfect match . . . now did I tell him the colour was Paris Blue or Paris Pink ?
