Hi,
I think I recall that it may not be suitable for cars with catalytic converters. I'm sure there are other products out there that do the same job that are suitable.

I use redex and i think it works, used to on my old cars and have used it every few tank fulls ever since. You can get redex for use with catalysts and injectors, just make sure you get the right one!

Think the bible mentions fuel aditives potentially harming he catalysts and maybe affecting the lambda sensors.

If you are running on Shell Optimax, BP Ultimate, etc there is no need to use additives as these premium products already contain detergents, etc.

I used to put Redex, etc in my other cars but was put off putting in my TVR after reading the bible but i also used to run these on the cheapest fuel i could find locally (supermarkets, etc).

I think you will find that Redex has changed over the last year , it does not have the old oil like viscosity of old redex , it is more like regular injector clean with a viscosity of petrol and is safe for cats. I use it now and again and have no problems. I don't think the new stuff lubricates the upper cylinders like the old stuff though i could be wrong.
