slight missfire
Discussion
Does the light actually work? It's not unknown for the sender to fail and produce silly results, but better not to assume this is the problem. The oil pressure will vary with oil type, oil temperature and revs but less than 15 psi at tickover is a worry and more than 45 psi when revving is a worry.
Thanks
the gauge reads about 10 at tickover and about 30ish when running, higher when the engine is initally started.
However with the engine off and ignition on, the gauge reads below zero so I am sort of thinking it is a callibration thing. The warning ligh comes on with the ignition and goes off wihen the engine is started.
