Not 100% sure on this one, Does it sound like a solenoid noise? Does it happen on both doors or just when you open yours? If you pull back the carpet behind the door lock and have a look you might be able to see the solenoid sticking maybe. Might need a dose of WD-40 or something.

Agree with RCA, sounds like the solenoid to me. Behind the flaps it should look something like this:
If it has gone replacing the door solenoid isn't hard and they're not expensive.

I would check the switches at the bottom of the door opening on the body of the car just above the sill.
These tell the central locking and alarm that you have the door open or closed and they may cause the problem you describe.
Easy to clean too. Just undo the self tapping screw that holds the switch in place.
Then spray the contacts with WD40 and clean with a bit of emery paper or wire wool.
Try pressing these buttons (one each side) with the door open and see if you hear a clunk when pressed.
If you dont, I would suspect they need cleaning or replacing.
