found a small back/up type battery in boot under carpet on nearside like you find in a domestic alarm system to protect from power cuts etc,any suggestions please.
Is connected to a tracker unit?

looks like is factory fitted bracket etc.just thought some of you who fitted speakers in rear compartment may have seen on your cars looks like its been there from day one.alarm b/up maybe,i know there normally fitted in alarm unit but this car is 1995.

It's almost certainly for a tracker. I found one in the passenger B pillar void (by the door lock). Tracker had long gone though.

yes had proper look today,left over tracker from years ago,poss fitting another one soon.thanks anyways...
