Looking for a respectable (if poss well priced) garage in the S.Brum / Redditch / Bromsgrove / Stratford area.

Its only for my exhaust manifold gaskets to be replaced, but id rather it was someone who has seen a V8 before.

I also want my silencers wadding/perf tubes stripped out and replaced with straight throughs, again if anyone knows any local establishment who can do that id be very grateful for any details.

Booked into 'centraltvr' for exhaust mod, gaskets and 6000mile service. They seemed reasonably priced and very friendly. Going to stick with them unless anyone has any disaster stories???

Cheers

Central TVR have been good to me a couple of times, but arent totally up to speed with AJP V8 set-up, thats the only thing i couldnt recommend them for.

In terms of genuine help and info i cant fault them. Let me know what they say about your exhaust, i may do the same on the Cerby...

Their service prices appear to be quite competitive too...

Anyone have any other recommendations in this area? I am in Bromsgrove too...

edited to say, if either of you two go to any of the local meets, please let me know, would be good to make some local contacts!!

Robert, would highly recommend Horizon Motorsport in Cradely Heath - cheaper than Central in most instances, and Mike the owner is a god with AJP engines - sorted my Cerbera a real treat.

You would both be very welcome at the Cotswold 3 Counties meets, check out www.tvrcc-c3c.co.uk/events.asp to see what's happening. Virtually everyone there uses Horizon as they're about as good as Indies get.

Thanks, next time i am stuck i will give them a try...

Cotswolds sounds great i will keep my eyes open and see if i can make the next one...

My last experience of the Cotswolds in the Cerb was Fish hill by Broadway, its staggering just how quick up that hill the Cerb went!

Another enthusiastic vote for Horizon here. Can't fault them for their standard of work, knowledge, honest approach and price.
