Wen i had my car checked out b4 i brought it a friend said that the left hand engine mountin was cracked then told me and my dad it was pretty easy 2 replace and shouldnt be a reason not 2 buy as otherwise the car was sound, should i start worrying yet iv had the car a week, i love it by the way!!!

Not the end of the world - the mounts are close to the exhausts.

I have seen threads on DIY mounts otherwise leave it to your preferred mechanic.

Change it quick! When you accelerate hard the engine lifts up and the power steering pump pulley cuts into the water pipe. Easy enough job but check the length of the studs on your new mounting mine were longer than the originals so I couldn't squeze it it. It took me about a hour of wriggling before I realized, I chopped 1cm off them and it dropped staight in.

yes and the offside exhaust manifold right near the precat rubs on the chassis,get them changed as soon as, you don,t want to shear the manifold bolts on that manifold.thats when there well perished though.not trying to scare you AYUP just dont take a chance.hope your still enjoying your car too.
