Has anyone heard they are about to bring this echaust system out? I am looking to change my standard exhaust on my Chim500, have looked at standard sports conversion, but what would people recommend? quite like the pops and bangs that come from some cerbs??

Yes we have a new Sports system, press release soon once we have sorted a sound file, i was never a fan of the Zero silencing "supersports" option so this will replace it, we will continue to offer the totally stand system to.

I have a Fernhurst sleeved (I think ) conversion , popping and banging like a firework factory on fire.
The hotter the weather the better. Superb !

Highly recomended !

Excellent, a week into ownership of my Griff and I'm in the market for something louder! I'll be sure to check this out...

I have ACT s/s pre-catless manifolds and Offords CHerry bombs (no idea if these are from ACT, but Offords sourced the ACT manifolds as well).

I'd put mine up against any Cerbie - pops&bangs doesn't quite do it justice - more like mortar bombs and machine gun fire, effin' loud

Only problem is don't feel I can warm up on drive for fear of upsetting neighbours - and I wouldn't want too many motorway journeys, but no better sound on a hoon!

I've heard some systems with full de-cat and sleeved boxes, and there is a danger that they are just too loud. Mine runs without pre-cats (modified by ACT with reverse cones) and has a fully sleeved box, but still runs with the main cat though. It doesn't get too noisy on long trips, and still sounds fruity for short blats. It sounds great in tunnels too...www.pistonheads.tv/clip940

Does the cherry-bomb insert make it noisier that a sleeved box, quieter, or just 'different'.

Nope - it just makes the V8 sound like god (and probably PW) intended, before the EU got involved with all things automotive

Matt, I guess you allready new the answer to your Question in the first place. After all you did use to inspect TVRs for people so I guess your pretty Knowledgable. So cant understand why you asked such Q, or was it just a bit of freindly trolling !!!
