The vinyl trim across the inside top edge of the windscreen has come away. To refit it it needs to be 'stretched' over the foam rubber behind it to reach the fibreglass rim. There's only a few millimetres of contact area, so: does anyone know a suitable adhesive that will hold cloth-backed PVC to fibreglass under tension using just a thin bead?

The normal adhesive for PVC trim is a contact adhesive, if you want a bead of something you might get away with using Sikaflex.

I had this same problem and used superglue gel and a piece of masking tape to hold the vinyl until it had 'gorn orf'. Lasted about 12 months then had to repeat, but no big deal.
