Hi all,
Well I sold my s3 3 weeks ago and on Thursday 29th June I got my baby........ CHIM 400. Wow what a car!!!!! I thought the S3 was good but this is in a diffrent class. The sound, the looks and what about the performance, its mind blowing. I got the car from James Agger ( top Bloke ) unlike my local TVR dealer !!!!!
My best friend just got his 911 c2 the day after I got mine and I must say its one hell of a car, but would i swap?............ would you? i thought not.
So im just here to say hello and lets go hunting !!!!!

Sounds like you're having a lot of fun with your new car, Leetvr. That's nice. I've had a ride in a couple of TVR's and driven one myself. They're very powerful machines and have a nice 'earthy' feel to them. Some nice design touches (I did say 'design' and not 'build quality'....) and great looks. Just be careful when you go 'hunting' that you don't bite off more than you can chew.....
i.e. Ensure that the roads are perfectly dry and have no bends of more than 3 degrees in them.

Hey Lee, I myself upgraded from an S to a Chimaera and was well pleased with it. Just upgraded again to a Tuscan and have a surplus set of new magnecor leads posted in the classifieds of you're interesetd. What colour combination & spec of Chimaera did you get?

Ahhhh.....Of course I'm a fan. In the same way that Benny Hill was a fan of Bob Todd.....
Sorry to hear that you may need to put new leads and plugs on your new Chim. Try Halfords - or maybe even Oxfam??? Are you sure it's leads and plugs? It could be your Uvula?
Hope you get it sorted soon so you can enjoy the sunshine with your new toy. I've heard the 400 when it's running 100% and it's a stunning rumble! Enjoy!
Maybe I'll see you out there on the roads (in my rear view mirror of course........)

I've got a set of Magnecors on mine, and have been very happy.

I picked them up from Tim @ ACT.

Relax....Just having some fun with my friend. Put your hands in the air and step away from your handbag. Anyway, are you going to tell me that TVR's always behave themselves in the wet? Like all performance cars, this isn't the case. I happen to know the driver that created this thread and his heavy/clubbed right foot.

Thanks lads for the help on the leads, i got myself a nice new set today, so that should help.
As for clarkey, nice to hear from you mate, I think this summer could be a lot of fun.
On another note, is anyone going from the midlands to the back home meet? maybe we could get a convoy?
