Just changed the n/s lambda sensor and the car was running fine ( apart from cutting out at idle ). Drove a couple of miles tonight and now its running rough again and the fault code reader says it's 44 which is guess what .... the n/s lambda sensor again ! This is really starting to get me down. Any ideas ?

I think you may have to clear the error from the ECU memory. It's certainly worthwhile to reset it anyway - unplug it for a minute.

Or the wire has a break in it which contacted when you moved it and has now broken contact again. (Had this problem on the Tuscan)
