Annoying indicator buzzer !
Discussion
Does anyone know if there is a (simple) replacement warning buzzer for the indicator buzzer fitted to my 1999 Chimeara?
Went on a fast drive with my (beautiful) wife this week via 'The Cat and Fiddle'in Derbyshire, and had a brilliant time - only spoiled by the annoying and feeble indicator buzzer!
Is there any readily available replacement buzzer that sounds, well, manly, instead of the effete thing that TVR chose to fit?

If it's buzzing then it sounds like the relay is on it's way out.Went on a fast drive with my (beautiful) wife this week via 'The Cat and Fiddle'in Derbyshire, and had a brilliant time - only spoiled by the annoying and feeble indicator buzzer!

If there is an answer to this one I would be interested. I quite often seem to be driving with an indicator light on.
When driving with the roof off on sunny days I find that I don't see the indicator lights very well.I find that the steering wheel partly obscures them as well. With the roof on it's not so much of a problem.
I have wondered what they have on motorcycles, but I think that would be too loud.
For towing a trailer you can get a relay that bleeps to indicate that the trailer lights are working. To fit would be a pain as it needs connecting to the indicator relay and the top of the dash has to come off. It could be fitted with a switch so that the bleep function could be selected when you want i.e. when the roof is off. I would not want the bleep to work when the roof is on, it would be too noisy.
Anyone got any other ideas

Yeah, it's buzzing, but not like it's on it's way out though. It's a really irritating beep, that is barely audible with the roof down, and when the loud pedal is down also (most of the time!)
Thanks for the suggestion though, I guess i can check that out and eliminate it this weekend, all being well.

You already have the answer! The dash top doesn't need to come off, all the wiring could be done inside the ignition switch cowl.
