yesterday i had the unusual quandary as to whether the secret lock opened the doors as well, i shall explain. Normally i dont have the roof on so this wouldn't have been an issue, but my alarm has been having 'issues' recently and so it wouldn't open the doors but as the windows were shut as well i couldn't get in. I thought of using the secret lock but wasn't sure if this would a) set off the alarm b) open the doors so i could try and shut the bloody thing up!!

If it is the same secret lock as on mine it opens just the drivers door, and if the alarm is active it will go off. One thing I don’t know is I have the Meta system with which you can disarm either with the button, or by placing the black thing in the hole (if you see what I mean). Does the black thing in hole cancel the alarm or just the immobiliser ?

The little black thingy does the immobiliser as well but you will need to reset the alarm when it has been used,,,, disconect the battery for a few seconds and then press the blippers. Worked on mine when the battery went flat,,good luck

And the battery won't help you much in making it quieter as the siren has its own internal battery.. they can go on for hours !
