What's my car worth?
Discussion
Looks like my car may have to go as from September we need something rather more economical for the school run (112 miles each day) but I am not sure what it's worth.
99T 4.0, 31500 miles, Viper Blue/Portland grey and blue interior. PAS. FSH (Mole Valley and specialist) with every receipt from new. 10 months MOT, 4 Toyos with plenty of tread. Standard apart from alloy stalks. It's got the usual stone chips on the front and the passenger mirror has a few bits of paint missing. Car has been faultless in my ownership. Garaged and so almost perfect interior. No current faults that I am aware of.
I was thinking of putting it on at £12995? Also what do you think is the difference between a sale price on 1st August and say the 1st October?
(Before you suggest finding a nearer school I am afraid that I lost that battle to Madame Flawse.)
Grateful for your views.

I think that is a little too cheap. Would add at least £2k to that and see if you get any takers. But that would all depend on the overall condition, if it is excellent condition then it would be worth it.
Now that the these cars are getting to the 7 and 8 year old mark there can be alot of difference between cars depending on how well they have been cared for and pampered over the years.

Totally agree with your last point. I saw a similar aged Chim as mine the other day - made me appreciate how nice mine is! There are some real dogs out there! Then again I bet there are examples out there that put mine to shame. :-(
