What faulty sensor would cause the engine to run on full choke. I have a rough running problem and it's although the car is consistently running on a full choke, maybe it's a brain fart on the ecu's behalf ?

14 carat guesswork .... if the ECU's temp sensor was knackered/detached I guess the ECU would think the engine was stone cold and might therefore have it running very rich

Is there more than one sensor in the engine that could cause this problem ? Replaced the coolant temp sensor already !

The coolant temperature sensor would be my first guess and there's more than one! There's one that drives the gauge, one that signals the ECU and there's often a third, unused one, that just plugs a hole. Which did you change?

One of the lambda sensors could be faulty. What's it like at over 3000 RPM?
