build no. ?

is it possible to find out the build no. of my car from the chassis no.? I know it was fisrt registered May '93 and the last 3 digits are 226, but I can't believe they had made that many by then. Any ideas ?

Find out who was the supplying dealer and they shoul;d have a build number in the vehicles archive file, failing that then ring 01253 509000 and speak to them at Bristol Avenue and they will route out the info

(they may charge you £30, but if you've got to know then you've got to know as they say in the Clint Eastwood films)


More than likely your build number will be 226 and mean nothing at all.

That is your build number but the numbers seem to include all cars that were made including Griffif and a few S series.

Soulds about right to me.
