Steering noise

My steering has started making a loud noise when i'm revesrsing on full left lock. I'm not leaning on the steering and the resevoir is topped up. The system does leak a little fluid and has for some time but this noise is new. The noise is a kind of loud moaning sound, something like hacksawing through steel. has anyone got any ideas?

Could be one of the front wheels fouling a lower wishbone?

Is it only when the car is moving? If so I'd suspect the tyre is fouling on something.

Hmm thats a thought, i'll have a look in the morning I did fit some rose jointed droplinks a while back, maybe one is rubbing the wheel.
I will report back soon.
GV8s have you driven croft? i'm thinking of tracking there on the 4th sept and wondered if its a good track for novices, I've driven Snetterton a couple of times but thats all.
