Need some advice please boys. Ive been given one of those Virgin Super Car Driving Experience gifts and dont know which one to do... choices are
Drive Ferrari or Porsche
Drive Rally Car
Drive Single Seater Race Car
Drive 4x4 off Roader
I bought a Chim early this year -my first TVR, despite lots of people telling me "its hardly a car for a girl!" But I love it and wouldnt change it, its sounds awesome. I just want to be able to get the most out of it. So my question is, which Driving Experience would benefit me most?? Anyone ever done any of these? Im torn between the Ferrari or the Rallying. I was going to sell it but now it seems it may be a good experience.
Thanks Susan

Having done numbers 2 - 4 in your list, I'd personally recommend the Rally Car experience.
4x4 was great fun, it's amazing what those vehicles are capable of !!!
The single seater was ok, but felt restrictive (rev limits etc).
Rally Car - awesome, actively encouraged to go faster :-). Learnt far more about car control than on the single seater.

It was a toss up between Ferrari and rallying but I know a guy who has got a Ferrari so whats the point in spending £250 when I can do it for free!
Assuming your friend will let you loose in his Ferrari!
I'd agree with the rallying though - I'm looking to book a second stint

Ferrari..... no problem, us girlies can be very persuasive!
Rallying it is then, providing I can find some spare time between now and November. Whereabouts did you go? There doesnt seem to be many choices. Looks like Leicester is the closest (im in North Wales) but I dont mind travelling as long as its a decent course.

I did mine somewhere northwest of Oxford, it's a few years ago now so I can't remember the actual place. The company was called Drive It All.
From the Virgin website there are quite a few places.
I strongly suggest you call Virgin and get a list of the actual companies who are running the courses - you need to check with them which car / surface they run on.
If at all possible, you want to go with a firm that uses RWD on a loose surface for MAXIMUM FUN.
It will be worth travelling to get that combination.

Did mine here

and I'm going to try here for the next one

but for yourself, as mentioned previously, it depends who Virgin have the deals with, so you need to contact them for details.

My dear lass, good on you. Buck the trend, stretch expectations, and if you can afford it and want to then why the heck not. We're all individuals, a TVR floats your boat, you've earned it, now you can grin with the rest of us!
Have fun and keep Tivving.

Will you be allowed in the Porsche or Ferrari alone? I doubt it, in which case you might have more 'fun' in the single seater. Plus the single seater will be a LOT different to the Chim - handling, steering response, etc. They may rev limit it which could be frustrating, but I'd go for the single seater. I did a single seater at Thruxton and got lucky - I couldn't fit in the 1600cc Formula Ford-a-like, so I got to go in an full bodied, but open-cockpit Formula Renault 2000. It was more fun than track daying my Griff. I drove a Ferrari 355 on the same day - great experience, but not as much fun as the single seater. Rallying is awesome fun, but again, you'll probably have someone telling you what (not) to do. It depends if you want to learn from the experience or just do your own thing and enjoy it.
I would recommend the rally car. Paid for my wife to go on one last year as she was worried about driving the TVR.
They used Mk2 Escorts or Imprezas depending on what you wanted. On gravel you don't need to be going flat out to have lots of fun and will teach you lots about RWD control.
